Phandanaṃ capalaṃ cittaṃ dūrakkhaṃ dunnivārayaṃ; ujuṃ karoti medhāvī usukāro va tejanaṃ.
English Translation
The mind trembles and wavers, difficult to guard and hard to hold back. A wise person straightens it, the way a fletcher straightens an arrow shaft.
