Maggān’aṭṭhaṅgiko seṭṭho, saccānaṃ caturo padā; virāgo seṭṭho dhammānaṃ, dipadānañ ca cakkhumā.
English Translation
Of paths, the eightfold is the best; of truths, the four statements. Of qualities, freedom from craving is best, and among beings with two feet, the one who sees clearly.
